A quick update. Summer is half over. Where did the time go? We've seen the kids 3 times, for only 24 hours each time, but it was nice to connect. We went down to Mpls for a Twins game with them last week. My rehab is progressing very very slowly. People: Beware of steroids. They destroy muscle. Don't know if I will ever regain what I have lost. But I continue to work at it. Here are a few pics from the summer.

I cannot know what you feel in your body but when I look at these pictures I see beauty from the ashes. Satan lied to you 5 years ago and there you are LIVING life with the love of your life, your amazing son, and now the addition of your beautiful daughter-in-law. Wow!
If I remember correctly they told you a couple of months might account for the rest of your days on this earth and almost 60 have passed. They have been a hard fought battle, and you have the scars to prove it, but I think of the Christmas gift God gave us this year and trust that it was only the beginning.
